Zetta is a diminutive of Rosetta, which is an Italian diminutive of Rose. Rosetta is the name of an important port city on the Mediterranean coast in Egypt. Rose originates in Latin language and is derived from the fragrant flower. Its Latin meaning dates back to the 19th century. However, some sources suggest that originally Rose derived from a Norman name which meant "famous kind". The flower rose has always been a sign of love, beauty and also the astrological sign of Libra. It was also the name of a Sicilian saint in the 12th century.
